Why is it called a Casting Bootcamp? Because these sessions will prepare you for the reality of the casting and auditioning world!Matthew does not sugarcoat it! The session will cover Do’s & Don’ts both inside and outside the audition room, what to do and what not to do once you are inside the audition room, once you have landed the job what you can expect and what is expected of you. Matthew will also cover monologues, commercials, cold readings, improv, slating, on camera tapings & much more as well as an opportunity for questions & answers. Actors are to come prepared with a 60 second monologue of your choice to perform at the workshop. You will be guided through techniques that will help you truly stand out at an audition! This Casting Bootcamp will prepare actors for the realities of the auditioning process.

Matthew comes to casting with educational training in business (degrees inInternational Business and Foreign Languages). Having lived and studied in the United States, Canada, France and Spain, Matthew has a diverse eye for people and a broad understanding of international cultures, practices and trends in marketing/advertising. With over a decade of real-people casting under his belt, along with casting professional models and actors, Matthew is a strong asset in an industry for which he is truly passionate! Most recently Matthew has cast two feature films directed by and starring James Franco (As I Lay Dying & The Sound and the Fury) as well as Blackbird (starring Oscar award winning actress Mo’Nique and Isaiah Washington) to name a few. Matthew’s company Morgan Casting is headquartered in Toronto, Canada with US offices in New Orleans, Louisiana and Canton, Mississippi.
